    Need help managing your diabetes? Dining With Diabetes is a program for people with diabetes or prediabetes and their family members. Participants will learn how to fit carbohydrates into a healthy menu, effectively use food labels, choose meals at a restaurant and adopt other healthy habits to help manage diabetes through healthy eating. Recipes will be provided. Join us via Zoom video conference on June 4, 11, 18, and 25 from 10am – 11am.   2. Outdoor Cooking Webinar

    Summer is just around the corner, and with it, the perfect temperatures to cook outdoors. If you have wanted to learn a few methods of outdoor cooking, this webinar is for you! Basic fire construction and safety, methods of cooking outdoors, demonstrations of several of these methods, and recipe ideas will be covered. In addition, there will be a time for questions and answers, and attendees will be able to sign up to receive a copy of the recently published Outdoor Cooking curriculum either emailed or mailed to them.   3. Free Master Gardening Program on Zoom

    Caldwell Lake George Library is excited to announce that it has linked with Warren County Cornell Cooperative Extension Master Gardener Coordinator Jessica Holmes to provide a series of live online programs free to library patrons on Zoom. Starting May 21, the programs will be available biweekly on Thursdays at 2 p.m. This program is limited to 40 participants. Landscape design is a fun project homeowner can do on their own! Learn the principles and elements of design and how to pair plants together based on season, bloom time, and environmental needs. Jessica is also Horticultural Educator with Saratoga’s Cooperative Extension, holds a bachelor's in Agriculture Business and is now earning a master’s degree in Agriculture Education.
