In honor of the Glens Falls High School boys basketball team’s New York State Public High School state championship and Federation Tournament of Champions championship, Mayor Daniel L. Hall has declared Tuesday, March 26, 2019 to be Red and Black Day in the City of Glens Falls. Mayor Hall urges all who live, work and play in the City to wear red and black on Tuesday to support and honor the team and show our Glens Falls Nation pride! The City will formally honor the team with a procession from Glens Falls High School starting at 5:45 p.m., Tuesday and traveling to City Park where the team is expected to arrive at about 6 p.m. Mayor Hall and members of the Common Council will greet the team and offer congratulations. All are welcome and encouraged to attend.

There will be a parade to celebrate the Glens Falls Indians Boys Basketball Team on Tuesday March 26th,2019. They won the Class B State Championship Title in Binghamton on Saturday. The parade will start at the Glens Falls High School at 5:45 PM and will proceed to the gazebo in City Park where Mayor Hall and the Glens Falls Common Council members will greet the team and say a few words. Please join us to congratulate these boys who have worked so hard all season and brought the State Championship home to Glens Falls!
