    – Cornell Cooperative Extension of Warren County will be holding two programs on small-scale livestock production. The first presentation “Starting a Small Poultry Flock In The Adirondacks” will be given via online Zoom presentation on Tuesday, June 2 at 6:30PM. Topics include: housing, feed, water, space requirements, local ordinances, and breeds of chickens, ducks, and geese. The program is FREE of charge, but registration is required for the program and can be accomplished by calling 518-623-3291 or emailing: jfb32@cornell.edu. The second program “Starting a Meat Rabbitry” will be given via online Zoom presentation on Tuesday, June 16 at 6:30PM. Topics include: housing, feed, water, space requirements, local ordinances, and breeds of meat rabbits.     Caldwell Lake George Library is excited to announce that it has linked with Warren County Cornell Cooperative Extension Master Gardener Coordinator Jessica Holmes to provide a series of live online programs free to library patrons on Zoom. Starting May 21, the programs will be available biweekly on Thursdays at 2 p.m. This program is limited to 40 participants. Landscape design is a fun project homeowner can do on their own! Learn the principles and elements of design and how to pair plants together based on season, bloom time, and environmental needs.
