Arbor Day has been celebrated across the United States since 1872. Arbor Day is traditionally celebrated on the last Friday in April
but can be celebrated at any time date and is dependent on the growing season.

The holiday was first held in the state of Nebraska and was initiated to get communities and farmers to plant trees for the benefits of soil health, beautification, reducing soil loss from erosion, encouraging windbreaks along fields, and promoting pollinators.

Planting trees this time of year is a great way to get outside and appreciate the benefits that trees offer to our landscapes and their ecological value.
