[ARCHIVED] Fire & Ice will be delayed....

Fire and Ice - 2020 - via Downtown Glens Falls FB Page

Even with forecasters providing details that the coldest air this Winter season will arrive later this week, event organizers in the City of Glens Falls decided to postpone the beginning of “Fire & Ice” this Friday.  Organizers are concerned about the thickness of the ice on Crandall Pond and, even if it gets very cold later this week, that the ice thickness may not be uniform and safe enough for everyone looking to attend.  Event organizers will continue to monitor the conditions of the ice with the hopes of beginning “Fire & Ice” the following Friday, February 10.
