"Everything in the meteorological bag happened overnight but the roads are in good shape within the City of Glens Falls" according to Tom Girard, Superintendent - Department of Public Works.
"In a non-weather-related issue" continues Girard, "there's a problem with the traffic light at the intersection of Sanford Street and Ridge Street. It is flashing on all sides and should be treated as a 4-way stop sign intersection. The
Department of Public Works is aware of this issue and has been addressing the issue step by step to resolve it."
The Glens Falls Police Department will be monitoring this area for those motorists who continue to ignore the Motor Vehicle Traffic Laws in this area.
