Glens Falls, New York (December 13, 2022) – Beginning this Friday, December 16, Greater Glens Falls Transit (GGFT) will be SUSPENDING the following bus trips along these two (2) specific routes due to a shortage of bus drivers:

  1. Route 4 – Glens Falls to Hudson Falls to Fort Edward which also includes running along Quaker Road & Boulevard (QB) – Weekdays – leaving Ridge Street in downtown Glens Falls at 11:30am (QB), 1:30pm (QB), and 2:30pm (QB); and,
  2. Routes 11 & 12 – Upper Glen Street – Weekdays – leaving Ridge Street in downtown Glens Falls at 9:30am, 10:00am, 10:30am, 11:00am, 12:30pm, 1:00pm, and 3:30pm.

As a result of the Route 4 Bus Line as well as the Routes 11 & 12 Bus Lines being SUSPENDED, GGFT will be CHANGING the following bus route:

Route 19 – 9:30am & 10:30am – these two (2) trips normally go up Bay Street but are going to be re-routed on these specific trips to use Glens Street instead of Bay Street and Quaker Road.  These two (2) trips will also service Walmart on Upper Glen and the Montcalm Apartments.

The service changes noted above will be in effect until further notice.  GGFT has alerted the other municipalities that will be affected by these changes.
