Concerns of COVID and January 1st Common Council meeting, Swearing-in Ceremony and Reception

On Saturday, January 1, 2022 at 1 p.m., Common Council Chambers, 3rd Floor, Glens Falls City Hall, Mayor-Elect Bill Collins, the incoming Common Council members, and other City Department Heads will be sworn in at the Organizational Common Council meeting.

The Spread of COVID 19 in our community continues to concern us.  To ensure the maximum safety for you and our entire community, Glens Falls Mayor-Elect Bill Collins encourages everyone to consider getting vaccinated if you haven’t already done so, and to get a booster if you’re eligible.

If you haven’t been vaccinated, you may watch the January 1st Common Council meeting & Swearing-In Ceremony live on the City of Glens Falls YouTube Channel:

While Mayor Elect Collins recommends that anyone attending public meetings gets vaccinated, please remember that wearing a mask that covers your nose and mouth while at City Hall or other indoor public spaces is required and will be adhered to at both the Swearing-in Ceremony and the public reception immediately following.
