2021 YARD DEBRIS
SPRING PICK-UP SCHEDULE

 The Department of Public Works would like to remind City residents that the Spring open pick-up period for yard debris will be as follows:

SPRING OPEN PICK-UP BEGINS
APRIL 19TH    

 SPRING OPEN PICK-UP ENDS
MAY 28^TH 

 BAGS ONLY
May 28th to October 1st

 Please note that the OPEN PICK UP schedule will be strictly enforced.  After the June 1^st deadline, all yard debris must be placed in biodegradable bags, available at any of the Glens Falls Stewarts or other area stores.  We will start in Ward 3, then Ward 2, Ward 1, Ward 4 and then Ward 5.  ALL GRASS CLIPPINGS MUST BE BAGGED.

 Please do not mix topsoil, sod, trash, or heavy materials in with the leaves and other yard trimmings.   Please make sure all brush is separate and piled in one direction and not placed with yard waste.  Please be aware that the City does not provide pick-up services for major clearing operations or to commercial establishments.
