[ARCHIVED] Ridge Street Infrastructure Work to Impede Traffic Flow


Infrastructure work related to construction of the Glens Falls Housing Authority administration building will impede traffic on Ridge Street beginning at 8 p.m., Monday, Nov. 2 and continuing through 4 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 3. Between the start of work at 8 p.m. Monday, and continuing through 5 a.m., Tuesday, there will be no through traffic on Ridge Street between Maple and the traffic circle. The street will be open to local traffic only. From 5 a.m., Tuesday to 9 a.m., Tuesday, the street will be open with two lanes, one in each direction. From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, traffic will be reduced to one lane to allow for paving. Motorists should anticipate delays and choose alternate routes when possible.
