The Dix Avenue Pavement Preservation project is scheduled to begin the week of October 26th, 2020. Rifenburg Construction will be performing the following work for the weeks of October 26th to November 6th, 2020:

  • Installation of work zone traffic control signage, including a short term detour between Ridge St. and Cherry St.
  • Conduct test pit excavations to investigate any underground utility conflicts
  • Conduct sewer main repairs between Ridge St. and Cherry St.

Please be careful walking or riding bicycles within the project limits and be aware of delineation marking hazards along the sidewalks and roadway. Please obey all sidewalk closed signs.

We ask that motorist be courteous and alert to the construction equipment and especially the workers. Please 'SLOW DOWN' in the work zone for everyone's safety. Texting while driving is against the law. Be alert and follow the signs. We take pride in providing as safe environment for the workers and the traveling public.
