The City of Glens Falls is Proud to be a Tree City USA Community

We would like to celebrate by participating in the Arbor Day Foundation’s challenge! Email us your favorite tree picture in the City or tag us on our Instagram page @cityofglensfalls . We will feature some of our favorite pictures on our social media on Arbor Day, April 24, 2020. Let’s get out there and show off all of our beautiful City trees, while social distancing of course. You may also submit a photo that you’ve taken in the past. Email your pictures to webmaster@cityofglensfalls.com

While Arbor Day in years past was a time for volunteering and community events, this year is very different.

BUT THE SPIRIT OF ARBOR DAY IS STILL STRONG.

Head to CelebrateArborDay.com for ideas and resources to help you celebrate Arbor Day in these ever-changing times, including a fun social media opportunity with #arbordayathome.

Post a photo of your favorite tree, use the hashtag #arbordayathome, and tag the Arbor Day Foundation. We’ll plant a tree on your behalf in one of our nation’s forests…up to 50,000 trees!
