The National Weather Service has issued an Excessive Heat Watch for Saturday July 20th from 12 noon through 8 PM. Extreme heat can cause illness and death among the population who cannot stay cool. The excessive heat may quickly cause heat stress or heat stroke. Especially for the elderly and young. Please don't forget your pets!! An excessive heat watch is issued when high temps and humidity combine to create dangerous conditions.
Drink plenty of water (don't wait until you are thirsty!) and seek shelter with air conditioning. If you do not have air conditioning in your home head to a library or shopping mall.
